Orest V. Pelechaty, C.A. received his degree of Oriental Medical Doctor in 1986 from the California Acupuncture College subsequent to his 1985 Masters Degree from Tri-State College of Acupuncture. He holds a B.A. in Psychology from Rutgers University and is nationally certified in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine. He completed post-doctoral studies in Korea.
He founded Aware of Life Options & Healing Arts (ALOHA Clinic) in 1988. Orest retired in 2003 from Clinic Directorship in order to pursue individual private practice, teaching, writing, and consulting to health professionals.
He is Vice President of the New Jersey Association of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Orest served on the Board of Directors of the American Association of Oriental Medicine (AAOM) where he was national chairman of both the Herbal Medicine and the Qi Gong Therapeutics Committees.
He has recently founded a holistic clinic to serve the poor in a village in Himachal Pradesh, India.
Orest has been a guest lecturer at local universities and hospitals as well as on radio and television. He always welcomes the opportunity to share his vast knowledge and experience. |
